In the community

One of the things people always comment on about Marketforce is the culture and enthusiasm of our people. In 2006, we decided it was time to put some of that sense of fun and purpose back into the community, nominating Over The Wall as our official charity.

Over The Wall is a small charity that runs residential camps across the UK for children with serious and life-limiting illnesses. Its purpose is to provide the care and medical attention these children need, while giving them the rare opportunity to mingle with their peers and enjoy ‘just being children’.

Marketforce is now a regular fundraiser for the Over The Wall, among a growing list of corporate supporters including, GlaxoSmithKline, Skinny Sams, Hogg Robinson Group, Babytec, JuniOrganic and The Kitchen Shop.

From regular pub quizzes, to cake sales, providing extra pairs of hands at Over The Wall’s own fundraising days, or getting our staff to walk a combined 1,000 miles in one day (!), we continue to get stuck in to raising any money that we can for the charity. We also send members of staff to volunteer at the week-long camps each year.
