Biography
Mr Wieland has over 30 years’ experience in banking and finance in Switzerland, having held positions in Credit Suisse, Zürcher Kantonalbank and now SIX Securities Services.
Mr Wieland is the CEO of SIX x-clear Ltd – the clearing arm of SIX Securities Services – and is responsible for overall strategy, risk modeling and management and business development. He works closely with FINMA and other regulatory bodies both within Switzerland and internationally.
In addition, Mr Wieland is a member of the Executive Committee of EACH [the European Association of Central Counterparty Clearing Houses], providing his expertise in discussions on clearing and settlement in Europe and also on a global scale.
Mr Wieland has been with SIX Securities Services since 1996, most recently as Head of Operational Risk Management and Deputy CEO of SIX x-clear Ltd, a role his took on in 2003. He has vast experience within SIX x-clear Ltd and is able to exploit this in his current role as CEO.
Prior to SIX Securities Services, Mr Wieland was Vice President and Head of the Credit Department at Zürcher Kantonalbank, where he gained and in depth understanding of the Swiss financial system.

Biography
Paulina Dejmek joined the European Commission in 2004, after having worked in a law firm in Frankfurt am Main and at the EFTA Surveillance Authority in Brussels where she was responsible for financial services, capital movements and company law.
After a couple of years in the unit for insurance and pensions in DG MARKT, Paulina joined the Legal Service of the Commission in 2007, providing legal advice on financial services and financial market matters. During the Swedish EU Presidency in 2009, Paulina was seconded to the Swedish Permanent Representation as financial attaché.
Paulina is a Swedish and Czech citizen, she holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Lund, Sweden, and a doctorate degree from the University of Heidelberg, Germany.

Biography
Director of Post Trade, responsible for formulating and executing on the Group's post trade strategy, developing its existing clearing and settlement assets and overseeing the provision of post trade services to the Group's markets. In addition to his role of Group Head of Post Trade he is also the Vice Chairman of both Monte Titoli S.p.A. and Cassa di Compensazione e Garanzia S.p.A. He joined the Group from Xtrakter (formerly ICMA) where he held the position of Chief Executive until the sale of the business to Euroclear SA when he became a member of Euroclear's senior management team. He has over 25 years of financial experience working at Thomson Financial, Macgregor and Omgeo.

Biography
Jean-Michel Godeffroy (53) is Director General at the ECB and Chairman of the T2S Programme Board (since May 2009). In this capacity, he also chairs the T2S Advisory Group. From July 1998 until May 2009, Mr Godeffroy was Director General for Payment Systems and Market Infrastructure at the ECB. He also chaired the Payment and Settlement Systems Committee of the Eurosystem from 2000 until 2009. He was also a member of the Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems of the G10 countries' central banks.

Biography
Guus Warringa is currently working as Chief Counsel of APG Asset Management, one of world's leading Institutional Investors, managing over €280 billion of pension funds assets. He is also a member of APG's Asset Management board.
He joined APG from NYSE Euronext where he was employed as General Counsel of the Dutch Exchange (Euronext Amsterdam) and held various positions within the global NYSE Euronext group.
Previously he was the General Counsel, compliance officer and company secretary of the listed investment firm AOT N.V. (now Binck Bank N.V.).
From 1994 – 1997 he was a lawyer with Loeff Claeys Verbeke law firm in Rotterdam. Guus holds a Law degree from the University of Leiden and a Masters in Law (LLM) from Cambridge University, Magdalene College. He has also completed a postgraduate course in banking and securities law at Grotius Academy (Nijmegen).

Biography
Diana Chan joined EuroCCP in 2007 as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to her role at EuroCCP, Diana was Citi's Head of Market Strategy and Market Policy in Securities and Fund Services.
Diana has over 20 years' experience in the global securities markets, during which time she has worked in Brussels, Paris, London, New York, and Singapore. She had regional and global responsibilities for post-trade services at Citi, JP Morgan, The Bank of New York, and Euroclear, including strategy, product management, network management, financial control, and management information.
Since 2003, Diana has been an active member of advisory groups on clearing and settlement organised by the European Central Bank and the European Commission. Most recently, she has been appointed to the ESMA Post-Trade Standing Committee's Consultative Group.
Diana was born in The People's Republic of China and is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong and Harvard Business School.

Biography
Stephen McGoldrick went to business school at University of Georgia then graduated from Edinburgh University with a joint honours Lob (Law and Accounting). Staying in Edinburgh he entered finance in 1990 as an analyst in NatWest's Equity Quants team working on indices then derivative and portfolio risk. He spent 1992-99 as a derivatives broker with responsibility for developing and selling the technology platform. He moved to eCommerce in 1999 then into equity market connectivity and algorithms before taking on current responsibility for European market infrastructure in 2006. Having been involved in multiple equity market structure initiatives (he was on the Board of both BOAT and Turquoise) Stephen's motivation, and remit, is to improve market efficiency. Greatest career achievement is finding a job he loves in The City of London while avoiding having to relocate from Edinburgh where he lives with wife, three children and a whippet called Frankie.

BA Harvard, PhD Cambridge. Joined the proprietary trading team at Swiss Bank Corporation in 1994, gained experience 'downstairs' on the LIFFE derivatives floor as a yellow jacket and 'upstairs' trading special situations via brokers across most western markets. Currently Managing Director, Equities responsible for Market Structures at UBS Investment Bank, Chairman of the Securities Trading Committee of the London Investment Banking Association, a member of user advisory groups for a number of Stock Exchanges and pro-competitive initiatives, the FSA's Capital Markets Sector Senior Practitioner Committee, Euroclear's UK Market Advisory Committee, a Fellow of the Securities & Investment Institute sitting on its Membership Committee, the UBS high level representative by invitation to the European Commission's CESAME and now CESAME2 Group, and a member of the FTSE Country Classification Committee.

Biography
John Serocold took up his position as a Senior Director at ICMA in January 2011.
He is responsible for ICMA's work in the secondary cross-border market for international debt securities, including co-ordinating the response of member firms to current consultations on the review of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) and other European regulatory reform affecting the market.
Previously he was a Managing Director at the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) from 2009 to 2010 and before this a director at the London Investment Banking Association, a predecessor of AFME, from 2000. His trade association work included market structure, commercial and regulatory issues; securities trading, clearing and settlement issues, prime brokerage and investment bank insolvency.
Between 1992 and 2000 Mr Serocold worked on equity markets issues and market automation projects for the Bank of England, the UK FSA and a variety of commercial clients.
From 1986 to 1992 Mr Serocold held a number of corporate broking roles.

Biography
Gian Bruno Mazzi is Managing Director of SIA since May 2007. He is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of GBC and Vice President of SiNSYS and TSP (Tecnologie e Servizi per il Pubblico). Prior to SIA, in October 2003, Gian Bruno Mazzi was appointed Chief Executive Officer in SSB, position he held after directing the Organization, Information Systems and Back Office Shared Services in Cardine Banca. In 1997 he became Chief Executive Officer of Caer Servizi, in the Caer Banking Group, born from the merger between Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna and Banca Popolare dell’Adriatico. In 1996, he had joined Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna as Chief of the Resources area. From 1980 until 1996 he worked in the Finance and Banks Department of Andersen Consulting, where he became a partner in 1989. Among other responsibilities, he was chief of the offices in Bologna and chief of commercial management for banking in Italy. Gian Bruno Mazzi began his professional career at SIP, the Italian telephone company, after taking his degree in Economy and Political Science at the University of Bologna.

Biography
Fabian Vandenreydt is Head of the Securities and Treasury Markets group in SWIFT’s Marketing Division. He also leads the Matching and Reference Data units.
Fabian has been involved in the financial services industry for 15+ years. He joined SWIFT in 2004 from Capco, a consultancy, where he was involved in large front-to-back automation programs in the FX, equities, derivatives and fixed income areas. Prior to this position, he was a Vice-President at Euroclear, in charge of product management for communications services. He is Belgian.
