Biography

Karla Geci works with broadcasters, media companies and content owners who want to leverage the Facebook Platform to build social applications and experiences on 3rd party web properties and Facebook Pages.

From 2007 to 2009 Karla was Director of Marketing at Bebo where she drove strategic marketing partnerships with media owners and publishers.

Prior to Bebo, Karla spent six years at RealNetworks as the European Marketing and PR Manager working across their mobile, software and digital music verticals, launching enterprise products and consumer services.

Karla is originally from the US where she received a BSBA from the University of Pittsburgh, College of Business Administration. She has lived and worked in the UK since 2001.

Biography

Claire Enders founded Enders Analysis in 1997. Claire is one of the most experienced analysts and forecasters in UK and European media and telecoms, with more than 25 years in strategy development and market research in these sectors. Claire is particularly valued for her independent views and insights regarding cyclical and structural impacts on companies in the media, telecoms, technology and retail sectors. Her company, Enders Analysis, is one of the leading independent research companies in the UK and focuses on research, analysis and specialist expertise across the UK and European sectors. Some 150 financial, corporate and regulatory organisations subscribe to Enders Analysis' independent research reports. Enders Analysis supports a wide range of charities in the UK with which Claire is actively involved, including the Natural History Museum, the NSPCC, and various orchestras and museums.

Biography

Michael Comish is the CEO and co-founder of blinkbox.com, the largest independent video-on-demand service for blockbuster movies and TV series in the UK.

Michael played a central role in building the pioneering online-video company AtomFilms, which he co-founded in 1998. As its President of International Operations, Michael helped Atom grow revenues to $25m, successfully merge with Shockwave.com and attracted a global audience of more than 15 million users per month. The company was sold to Viacom for $200m in 2006.

Michael then went to Channel 4 where he was the Managing Director of 4 Services; a role which included running New Media, the Studio and Post Businesses, 4 Creative and Corporate Development.

The early part of his career was spent at Braxton Associates and later as partner at Mercer Management Consulting, where he advised media clients in Europe and the US.

Michael graduated from The University of Western Ontario and later earned an MBA from INSEAD in France.
