Conference overview:
The London Market Forum provides a thought-provoking platform for key thinkers and market leaders from Lloyd’s and the Companies’ Market to discuss the challenges and opportunities of sustaining London’s position as the world-leader in specialist insurance provision.
From exploring the implications of an ongoing soft market to discussing the ongoing changes to the regulatory landscape at both a European and UK level, and from analysing new categories of emerging risks to evaluating the success of new claims initiatives, the event’s strategic approach provides insight into all the relevant market developments with minimal time away from the office.
Key questions to be addressed:
- How can London retain its competitive edge in an increasingly internationalised insurance industry?
- What impact will Solvency II capital requirements – and Solvency II preparations – have on London’s insurers?
- Responding to emerging risks: how can insurers effectively anticipate, mitigate, and innovate for new categories?
- Meeting client needs in the claims process: improving performance at Lloyd’s
- The insurance buyers’ perspective: what does London do well and how could it improve the end-client experience?
- How might the underwriter-broker relationship be enhanced?
- Expanding abroad: where do the growth opportunities lie and how can insurers make the most of them?
